Incorporating the Hertfordshire County Championships

Sunday 2nd November 2008

Half Marathon starts 10.30am
Fun Run starts 10.35am

The half marathon will be run on the two lap course used in 2007, utilising the traffic free cycleways.  Half of the race will pass through the attractive Fairlands Valley and is relatively flat with small undulations.  The race will be started by the Mayor of Stevenage with a finish on the running track in front of the new stand. Chip timing Gun to Tape.  It is expected that the Half Marathon will reach its limit, so please enter early to avoid disappointment.  All finishers in the half marathon will receive an award. 
There will be a Fun Run again this year.  Distance approx. 2 miles with a medal for all finishers.
 

Herts County Championships (Open & Veterans)
According to Herts AARC County Rules, but medals awarded irrespective of number of competitors.  See Prizes for age categories.  Only Herts affiliated clubs eligible for team awards.
Ladies’ team 3 to score, Men’s teams 4 to score.  First 3/4 score A team, next 3/4  score B team and so on.
